Matt McAllister
Patience, Honesty, Humility
When the excitement of buying or selling real estate transitions into a potentially high stress financial transaction you don’t want to be working with a Realtor who is swayed by the tides of emotion. Bringing ego to the table does not help get the deal done which is why Matt has fostered a lifestyle which keeps his demeanor clam and attitude positive.
His long runs, yoga, and study of Stoic philosophy keep his mind clean so he can make efficient business decisions for his clients. When he doesn’t know something, he has the humility to admit it and likes to collaborate with others to find the best solution. For Matt it’s not about being right but getting it done right which is why he has fostered a strong, professional relationships in the industry.
Matt holds a degree in Finance and an MBA from Bryant University where he was a two-time captain of the lacrosse team. After a stint in financial services he found his real estate career path with Statewide Abstract, a Westchester based title insurance firm. After six years helping close thousands of transactions Matt decided it was time to start selling in his own right and got licensed in 2018. This wealth of experience makes him uniquely qualified to understand not only how to get you into contract but also to the closing table successfully.
Matt is strongly committed to standing up for his client’s interests and concerns. He does not take the easy way out and will raise any issue; working tirelessly through any stumbling blocks. As someone whose idea of fun is a 100 mile bike ride you better believe he fights vigorously for his clients until the very end.
Matt grew up on the East End of Long Island and currently lives in Mt. Kisco with his wife, Kailey, and their mini-labradoodle. He has fallen in love with his new hometown and the greater Bedford area as a whole. Much of the allure of these upper Westchester towns is tied to the extensive network of gravel backroads steeped in equestrian lore. Where else in a county as affluent as Westchester is having mud on your tires considered a badge of honor? Matt spends much of his free time “where the pavement ends” as a realtor and avid cyclist he’s constantly finding new routes through these old town roads.
