Ben Jervis
Integrity and Care
Ben values integrity and authenticity in every interaction. An Upper West Side native, he remembers summers in Bear Mountain and is proud to call Rockland County home, having recently settled in Pomona.
Listening to everyone's unique story is especially meaningful for Ben, who grew up in a multicultural home that instilled curiosity for others. From childhood on, he traveled with his family internationally to places as far as Europe, South America and China. Growing up, Ben was fascinated by the built environment and started his career in urban development and public policy after college. At the University of Chicago, his senior thesis examined the construction of Dodgers Stadium in LA and its effect on local real estate values. After obtaining a Master's from Harvard in Public Policy, he began his career at the Port Authority, working in the Aviation Department on the redevelopment of JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia airports.
While his career always touched real estate, Ben knew something was missing until he stepped out of the 9-5 world to become a realtor. In just a few short years, Ben built a thriving real estate rental business in Brooklyn, with hundreds of executed deals. But for Ben, what's more important than the numbers is the trust he has built with his clients and the sense of fulfillment at helping someone find their home. It is that passion for people and their stories that brought Ben to Corcoran Baer McIntosh. In his spare time, Ben loves hiking (another Rockland County perk!), cooking the various cuisines of his heritage (Chinese and Jewish), deep conversations, and is an ordained Rabbi to boot!
