Tappan Zee Constructors will begin clearing slopes near exit 10 in S. Nyack to prepare for installation of permanent noise barriers.
Ice buildup on river continues to limit operations. Weather preparation protocols include having tugboats on water at all times, inspecting and adjusting mooring lines, inspecting barges and securing all equipment and moving the majority of cranes to shallow water.
