Located in a business park, Kuka offers a unique experience if you enjoy quirky beer inspired by different types of foods, fruits, and spices — Peruvian style. There’s 10 beers to select from, all made from the maca plant, a root-like vegetable grown in the Andes mountains. Owner/brewer is Alireza Saifi, a NYC finance guy who left his career to open Kuka in 2013. The Tasting Room is open from 4pm to 8pm on Fridays.
