Come take a ride up to Orange County and enjoy the quaint Village of Warwick.  Weekends are packed with fun things for families to do.  Every Sunday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. you can visit the seasonal “Farmers Market” located in the South Street parking lot.  Roam through the market and marvel at the variety of freshly picked vegetables and fruit to buy.  Continue your wondering and discover all kinds of fresh bread, pies, cheeses and even honey to purchase.
Getting away from things to eat, you can also bring home a bouquet of freshly picked flowers. Â Several flower farms proudly display their colorful arrangements. Â Personally I just love the sunflowers; they brighten up any room and can be bought in a variety of sizes.
Another great family event is to go to any of the local orchards and pick raspberries, blueberries, peaches and whatever else is ripe depending on the time of the month you come to visit. Â Ochs Orchard not only has delicious fruit but also has incredible views of the surrounding valley; really something to see as you drive down from the Orchard.
Come September, Apple Picking is a huge event in Orange County and Warwick certainly many wonderful orchards to visit. Just Google “Warwick Apple Orchards” and you’ll find at least four in Warwick alone. Â In October you can roam through the fields to find the perfect pumpkin! Â Come enjoy these wonderful memory makers for you and your family!
