Blauvelt Real Estate

Blauvelt is a hamlet located north of Tappan and south of Central Nyack in the top rated school district of South Orangetown Schools. Blauvelt is rich in history and home to the Jacob J. Blauvelt house that has been in the Blauvelt family since the time it was built, 1832, until it was acquired by the Historical Society of Rockland County. The Blauvelt family first arrived in America in 1638, and first arrived in Rockland County in 1683. Their genealogy today contains more than 26,000 names.

Blauvelt State Park is an undeveloped park featuring widely forested hiking trails and spectacular views of the Hudson Valley.  Hudson Vagabond Puppets performs larger-than-life puppet and mask programs locally.

For indoor sporting, nothing beats The Sports Place, Rockland’s leading indoor sports, and if golf is your game, why not practice your swing at The Practice Tee. Blauvelt is also the home of LoHud Hi Def Comedy, which provides evening entertainment all over the area.
